What
is Business?
An organization or economic system where goods and
services are exchanged for one another or for money. Every business requires
some form of investment and enough customers to whom its output can be sold on
a consistent basis in order to make a profit. Businesses can be privately
owned, not-for-profit or state-owned. An example of a corporate business is
PepsiCo , while a mom-and-pop catering business is a private enterprise.
What is Communication?
Communication is
simply the act of transferring information from one place to another. Although
this is a simple definition, when we think about how we may communicate the
subject becomes a lot more complex. There are various categories of
communication and more than one may occur at any time.
The different
categories of communication are:
Ø
Spoken or
Verbal Communication: face-to-face, telephone, radio or television and other
media.
Ø
Non-Verbal
Communication: body language, gestures, how we dress or act - even our scent.
Ø
Written
Communication: letters, e-mails, books, magazines, the Internet or via other
media.
Ø
Visualizations:
graphs, charts, maps, logos and other visualizations can communicate messages.
What is Business Communication?
Business Communication is any
communication used to promote a product, service, or organization – with the
objective of making sale. In business
communication, message is conveyed through various channels of
communication including internet, print (publications), radio, television,
outdoor, and word of mouth. In business, communication is considered core among
business, interpersonal skills and etiquette.
Ø Types of Business Communication
There are
two types of business communication in an organization:
1. Internal Communication
2. External Communication

Internal Communication
Communication within an organization is called “Internal Communication”.It
includes all communication within an organization. It may be informal or a
formal function or department providing communication in various forms to
employees.Effective internal communication is a vital mean of addressing
organizational concerns. Good communication may help to increase job
satisfaction, safety, productivity, and profits and decrease grievances and
turnover.
Ø
External Communication
Communication
with people outside the company is called “external communication”.
Supervisors communicate with sources outside the organization, such as vendors
and customers.

In my opinion, the good
communication is from the sender it self, sending the information/message and
there is still have process to sending them to the receiver, although need more
time, the information deliver to the receiver, and then receiver give feed back
to the sender.
